The Amble Youth Project has been given a wonderful opportunity to have donations match-funded — but we only have a small window of time to make the most of it. This opportunity is part of the Community Challenge with Cash for Kids North East, and we are one in just nine groups are taking part in the challenge, and each organisation has been allocated up to £1,000 in match funding.

Growing up isn’t easy. Today’s children and young people face pressures, challenges and uncertainties that can feel overwhelming. At Amble Youth Project, we walk alongside them through every stage of their journey.
Our varied programme provides safe spaces, trusted adults, and creative, meaningful activities that help young people feel valued, confident and capable. Whether they’re navigating friendships, building skills, exploring their identity or simply needing somewhere they feel they belong, AYP is here. We are committed to offering support, encouragement and opportunities that help them grow into strong, healthy and hopeful young adults.
This year, AYP celebrates its 30th year — three decades of opening our doors to children and young people seeking support, encouragement and opportunities to grow. As today’s young people face both familiar and new challenges, we remain committed to giving them a supportive hand as they navigate their world.
But we need help to do this, and we do need to ask for financial support, alongside voluntary time and gifts in kind.
Your donation will help us to:
• Offer safe, welcoming spaces where young people feel seen and supported
• Provide trusted and competent adults who deliver creative, active and purposeful sessions that build confidence and skills, and offer a listening, non judgemental ear
• Give young people opportunities to discover their strengths and believe in their future
