Last year, I swapped my business clothes for a prison jumpsuit and spent 12 hours locked up in one of the UK's most haunted prisons, HM Prison Shrewsbury, all to raise money for two incredible local charities – Cash for Kids and LoveBrum. Thanks to the amazing generosity of my friends, family and network, we raised vital funds to support children, young people and communities across the Midlands.
This year... I'm going back!
On 24 September, I'll once again be "locked up" as part of the Set Me Free Challenge. I'll be staying in my cell for 12 hours, and the only way I can earn my freedom is by reaching my fundraising target.
I'm raising money because I truly believe in the work these charities do. Every penny raised in our area stays in our area, helping children and young people facing poverty and supporting local communities when they need it most.
