So… I’ve signed myself up the Cash for Kids Lego Walk.
When The Solent Hotel were asked to host the event, I said “Of course!” without hesitation. Then came the real question: Would I walk across it myself? Well, apparently I like a challenge — so here I am!
Now, I know what you’re thinking… “Why would anyone voluntarily do this?” The answer: because it’s for a fantastic cause.
Most of us grew up pretty lucky - didn't we ? We have our gadgets, our treats, our little luxuries we barely think about. But not every child gets those things. While we’re complaining about the Wi-Fi being slow, there are kids out there missing out on opportunities, experiences, and even the simple stuff we take for granted like the Friday McDonalds Tea! Who didn't want the new Happy Meal Toy.
That's why each walk across that Lego is so important!
So here’s the deal: I’ll face the bricks, you help me raise the funds. Together we can make a difference (and you get to enjoy the entertainment of me risking my feet in the process). My feet are already curling!
My minimum target is £200, but wouldn’t it be amazing to smash that and do something incredible for Cash for Kids?
