Story

We are a local taxi company in Elgin and we started a charity football game last year to raise money for a charity! The idea came from our nightshift drivers During quiet spells on the Elgin taxi rank the drivers would take out a football and pass it about for a bit of fun to pass sometime. They would also take a a ball out when they went down to the fuel station for a coffee. We asked Dr Grays hospital in Elgin to play us as we do a fair bit of work for them and they kindly accepted the challenge so that’s where this crazy idea came from. Unfit taxis drivers running round chasing a ball for 90 mins with a bunch of NHS staff what could go wrong. Last year was a real success for the first year that we thought we need to do it again and hopefully improve on the score line. This year we have chosen MFR cash for kids as it is a charity very local to us. We are also aware of how money helps this charity to contribute to local families in our area. The game will take place on Sunday the 28th of April at Elgin City Football Club with a 2pm kick off
