My Story

Hi there, welcome to my fundraising page.

Lorraine and I decided to have an adventure trip to Rome through the Rust2rome website, in a car that costs under £1000 to buy. Its something that us and friends have talked about for a long time and decided to make it happen this year. We decided to raise money for MFR Cash for Kids as its a charity that helps many under privileged children across the Highlands and Aberdeenshire.

We depart from Queensferry on 4th June and all going well arrive in Rome, via the Swiss Alps, around 11th June.

Any donations to this great cause would be very much appreciated.

There will be lots of photos and hopefully video of the journey which will be posted during the trip or on return, depending on Internet connections.

I’m raising money to support Cash for Kids across Moray, the Highlands and Aberdeenshire so they can make a real difference to the lives of local children and young people.

Everything raised in our area stays right here, with a focus on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life. Anything you can give is very much appreciated. After you sponsor me, it would be great if you could leave a photo or video message too!
