🧸 Why am I doing this Charity Sale? 🧸
I thought I’d do a quick post to explain a bit more about why I chose to do this fundraiser and why this charity. I apologise in advance for the personal post 🙈.
Since my mum died in 2014, I have made it my mission to do some sort of fundraising for charity every year. Most of it has been cancer charities, but this year I decided to go for something different.
Because of all the spinal surgeries Darren has had (and the next one which is due end of the month 😱), my fibromyalgia, and a lot of other health related problems as well as other issues, things have been difficult in many ways, including financial. Over the years, I have felt guilty many times about things I’ve not been able to give Mia because of it all, both material things but also days out or active play we can’t do because of our health.
That’s why it hit home when I heard about this charity, because there have been many times we have been in a position where help like this would have made a massive difference.
So for any sale until 27/07, I will be donating 24% to Metro Radio Cash for Kids, plus 20% of total sales at the end of the week will be turned into free books which I will personally donate to struggling families through the charity.
And finally, I will be doing a raffle for a gorgeous pink teddy bear, with all the raffle money going to the charity as well, plus I’m collecting anything else you would like to donate to them as well ☺️ let’s try and put as many smiles on as many faces as possible 😊
