Ardsley,Tingley and Thorpe Santa Home Visit 2020
Here we have it the GRAND TOTAL for 8 hours of fun on the sleigh over two evenings, giving the most magical experience in our communities. What an achievement for all the effort put in.
All Money from the SANTA Event has come from Bookings and Cash Donations made in the evenings. There has also been further doantions prior to this post as a result of the community appreciating the event. So the total for Santa is greater than this update. ( £843.54 + £45 = £ 888.54 from one event over two nights )
Thank you for the additional online donations today.
We need to Thank a number of Local People and Local Businesses.
It was a massive task behind the scenes and there were at least 35 people / families/ businesses involved in the process before Santas Sleigh turned a wheel on Saturday Night.
The words “Thank You” barely scratches the surface of how much gratitude we have for everyone involved.
The Story and the Thank you List is in no particular order so here goes.

The Event
Kayli Reed – From Kayli’s initial idea we were approached and asked if we would be Santa for Covid Friendly Santa Visits all donations for Cash for Kids. Thank you Kayli for giving me free rein to explore how we could make this into the EVENT it became. I gave her my ideas as I had been wanting to do this for a while, we did not let Kayli see the sleigh until it was finished just so we could see her shock at the finished product. Her surprise was just as astonishing as everyone elses. Thank you for thinking about us.
The Elves, -Kayli Reed, Samantha Spivey , Judi Watson, Vicki , Richard Henry, Hollie Henry, Isla Stead-Price, Alexander & Frankie-Jo – The Santa experience would not be the same without the Elves who kept him informed of who, where and when, All the Elves are the critical cogs in Santa’s Workshop & Operations and help to keep Santa inline. The routines of the visits ran smooth as silk as they do in real life with the Elves directing Santa to the exact children that we were creating the magic for. Thank you All xx.
Rudolf - Iain Gaunt - we could not of got anywhere without Iain, We threw it all at him and we arrived and departed safely. Cul-de-sacs, No Through roads, Private Roads, Driveways he had the lot and its testament to him that we managed to get where we were going, all safe and well.
Photograpghy – There were a couple of Photographers around in the evenings
Isla – From Isla Liberty Photography
Daniel – Reyners Photography
And Finally - 2 more thank you’s
No Speech is not complete without Thanking God – For the RAIN !!!!!!
And this is the BIG ONE -
