Story

Hello!

We are Team VELOCITY, a group of teachers (and some kind friends of ours!) from UTC Sheffield City Centre who are swapping our textbooks for trainers!

We are bravely (or perhaps foolishly?) tackling a 10K race through the (sometimes hilly) roads of Sheffield! Armed with lesson plans and coffee, we’re running to raise funds for Cash for Kids, helping local children in need.

Whilst we may not be setting any records, our enthusiasm (and questionable running form) is unmatched. Whether we’re sprinting or walking in slow motion, one thing's for sure—all of us in Team VELOCITY are racing towards a good cause!

At UTC we have supported Cash for Kids for a number of years and it’s a cause close to the hearts of many within our community. Cash for Kids supports children and young people in our local area and makes a real difference.

Everything raised in our area stays right here, with a focus on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life.

Anything you can give is very much appreciated.
