Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page.

For a long time I have always hoped that an opportunity would come along to enable me to raise money for a good cause and now I do.

To be honest, I never thought it would be through an event like UWCB. I came across this event online a number of times and went away from it only to find myself becoming more intrigued with it. Next thing I knew the sign up button had been clicked and confirmation had been received I’m in.

Trying something completely out of your comfort zone is nerve wrecking and exciting at the same time but the support I have received from people close to me has been overwhelming.

I’m looking forward to the challenge ahead and will keep you posted.

There are so many great charities out there and I wish I could support all of them but I have chosen a charity close to home which I have wanted to support for along time and that is Cash for Kids.

They are a grant-giving charity that offers a helping hand to those who need it most, making a difference to young people across the South.

We support children from birth up to and including 18 years old who are vulnerable, come from disadvantaged backgrounds or are living with an illness or disability.

We also provide grants to many other charities, organisations and community groups, funding much-needed services and life-saving equipment across our area

Every penny raised locally stays locally, so you can be sure that your support will directly benefit children living in our region.

I understand that times are tough for so many of us right now and truly appreciate every penny that is donated.
