Story

On October 17th, I’ll be taking part in The Great South run (A 10-mile run) to raise money for the Cash for Kids Charity, in Association with Wave 105.
Cash for Kids supports children and young people affected by poverty, abuse, neglect, life-limiting illness, and those who have additional needs. Their mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in our local community who are affected by poverty, illness, neglect or have additional needs. They believe that all children should be able to express their individuality, achieve their potential and live life to the full.
The Great South Run is a 10-mile run, which is 16.1 kilometres. I’m hoping to run this in 1 hour 30 minutes. The race starts on the seafront of Southsea common and goes through the historic dockyard, so I should have something interesting to take my mind of the effort of running. 😊
It would be great if you could make a small donation to this great charity. Every penny makes a difference and will be used to support children along the South Coast.
