Story

Hi there, welcome to my fundraising page… make yourself at home :-)

I took up running about 10 years ago, getting to a point in the last year or so of running half marathons at least once a year (not particularly speedy)

Midway through last year in a moment of craziness I decided to push myself to do an ultramarathon (although there will a large amount of walking involved!), and the one that kept popping up on social media was the one round Lake Windermere in the Lake District, which is 47 miles on trails with about 2500m of ascent!

Having signed up for this mainly for the personal challenge, I'm also raising money to support Cash for Kids so they can make a real difference to the lives of children and young people.

They focus on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life. Anything you can give is very much appreciated.
