Welcome to our fundraising page, and thank you for taking the time to visit.
On 11th July 2026, our team, Velocity SimSport, will take on one of the biggest challenges in sim racing: iRacing's Virtual 24 Hours of Spa. For a full 24 hours, our drivers will race non-stop around the legendary Spa-Francorchamps circuit, competing against hundreds of teams from around the world.
But this race is about much more than motorsport.
We are taking on this challenge in support of Radio Clyde Cash for Kids, helping to raise money for children and young people across Glasgow and the West of Scotland.
Right now, around 1 in every 4 children in Glasgow and the West is living in poverty. Behind that statistic are thousands of children who may go without essentials, miss out on opportunities, or face challenges that no child should have to experience. Cash for Kids works throughout our local communities to provide support where it is needed most, helping children and families who are struggling and giving young people the chance of a brighter future.
Our entry will consist of two race cars, with the driving duties shared across our team of eight drivers from America, Brazil, Austri, Germany Scotland, England and more:
* Colin Campbell
* Coen Schlax
* Jan Michele Stolle
* Will Ewart
* Christian Correia
* Magnus Martinson
* Daniel Waghubinger
Throughout the race, drivers will rotate in and out of the cars using a double-stint strategy. A stint is the period of time a driver spends behind the wheel before handing the car over to a teammate. By completing double stints, drivers remain in the car for two fuel runs before a driver swap takes place, often spending over two hours fully focused on racing, traffic management, strategy and keeping the car safe before passing it on to the next driver.
While we will be racing in a virtual world, the difference your donation can make is very real.
Every pound raised helps Radio Clyde Cash for Kids continue supporting vulnerable children and young people throughout Glasgow and the West. Most importantly, the money raised locally stays local, helping children and families within our own communities.
Whether you can donate £1, £5, £10 £50 £100 or more, every contribution helps. If you're unable to donate, sharing our fundraiser with friends, family and colleagues can make a huge difference too.
For us, this isn't just about completing a 24-hour race. It's about using our passion for motorsport to help children who deserve a better start in life.
Thank you for supporting Velocity SimSport, supporting Radio Clyde Cash for Kids, and helping us turn every lap into something meaningful.
💛 Together, we can help make a difference. 💛
