Hi folks, welcome to my fundraising page.

My sister Lindsay and I are running the Standard Charter Dubai 10K on January 24th. Those of you that know us will also know that running is not up there on our priority list, however, Lindsay decided to set this as a challenge for herself to complete 4 days before her big birthday. Since I will be going out there to help her celebrate the big day, I seemed to manage to get myself roped in too! Training is going well, although I'm not sure training in the Orkney winter is going to prepare me for the Dubai temperatures!

We decided to raise money to support Northsound Cash for Kids in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire so they can make a real difference to the lives of local children and young people. Lindsay and I are both from Aberdeen originally so we wanted to help support a charity close to our hearts.

Everything raised in the area stays in the area, with a focus on alleviating poverty, supporting disability and improving quality of life. Any amount you can manage to donate is very much appreciated.
