Story

Hi there, welcome to our fundraising page… make yourself at home :-)

We are raising money to support Cash for Kids across Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and Falkirk so they can make a real difference to the lives of local children and young people.

My niece Sara was diagnosed with a rare neuromuscular disorder called SEPN1 Myopathy (Muscular Dystrophy) in 2022. This was devastating news and the condition now causes her to become more reliant on her wheelchair when out and about. Cash for kids gave Sara a grant for power assisted wheels for her chair and this has given her more freedom and independence and made such a huge difference .
We are looking to give as much back as possible to this great charity and are doing the Big Stroll Kilt Walk on the 15th of September 2024.
