So it's been a bit of struggle to get here. Having excitedly started off my training 12 weeks ago I was then halted by an Achilles injury and then covid. I'm now taking another rest with a groin strain. Turns out trying to run a marathon at 47 plays havoc on the body...not to mention my well publicised post child-birth running issues. Anyway, at a month to go I have decided it was time to fully commit to actually running the Edinburgh marathon at the end of May. Any donations to this great charity will spur me on towards the finish line!
