I’m raising money to support one of my dearest friends daughter Sara who was diagnosed with a neuromuscular disorder in April 2022. They were given the devastating news that Sara has a rare muscle disorder called SEPN 1 Myopathy (Muscular Dystrophy)!

This was heartbreaking for all her family but with Sara’s resilience and upbeat personality she makes things a little easier. She’s a little fighter!

They have chosen this charity as their daughter was successful in receiving a grant from Cash for kids. They provided Sara with a power assist for her wheelchair which has made a huge difference to her life, confidence and independence!

We’ve decided to do the Edinburgh Kilt walk big stroll that is around 14 miles long and any money I raise is going straight to cash for kids.
