Hi! We are Alex, Paul & Sheridan from D M Keith Skoda in Grimsby.

Why are we jumping out of a plane? The answer, for me, is simple. I’m doing it for the kids who wake up each morning facing challenges no child should have to face—poverty, insecurity, and a world that often turns a blind eye.

I believe that as a community, we have a duty to support the most vulnerable among us. It’s not just about feeling sorry or offering sympathy—it’s about doing something. Taking action. Stepping up when it matters most. Because while a small donation might not seem like much to you or me, it can change the course of a child’s life.

This is the kind of support can change a child’s outlook on life. It gives them hope. It shows them that even when things are tough, there are people out there rooting for them. And sometimes, just knowing that someone believes in you is enough to help you keep going.

That’s why we are doing this skydive. Because every penny raised goes to helping children living in poverty right here in our community. Kids who deserve the chance to feel safe, happy, and supported. Kids who need to know they’re not alone.

So yes, we will be jumping out of a plane—and while that may sound terrifying, it’s nothing compared to what some children face every day. If this small act of bravery can help raise funds and awareness for their cause, then it’s absolutely worth it.
