Story

AVA Street2Stadium is a community football project in Rochdale, providing opportunities for local children and young people to play football, stay active, build confidence and make new friends.

We believe every child should have the opportunity to enjoy sport, regardless of their family’s circumstances. We want our sessions to remain accessible and continue reaching children who may otherwise miss out.

Through the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge, we’re raising money to help us continue and grow our work with young people. The funds raised will help towards things such as football and sports equipment, venue and pitch hire, training activities and opportunities for more children to take part.

Over the next four weeks, we’ll be fundraising across our community and taking on different challenges to reach our target. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.

If we can raise at least £2,000, we’ll also have the opportunity to receive additional funding through the Sports Challenge — meaning your support could go even further.
