Hi, and welcome to our Cash for Kids Sports Challenge fundraising page!

Birmingham Hockey Club 1932 is fundraising through Cash for Kids to ensure that children and young people, regardless of neurodiversity or family circumstances, have the opportunity to access and enjoy hockey.

Our neuro-inclusive hockey programme provides a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where neurodiverse and neurotypical young people can participate together, build confidence, develop friendships and experience the physical, social and wellbeing benefits of sport. For families in hard-to-reach and socially deprived areas, however, the cost of taking part can be a significant barrier.

Support from Cash for Kids will directly help us remove that barrier. Funding will contribute towards club kit and equipment for our young players, ensuring children have the clothing and resources they need to participate with confidence. Crucially, it will also help us keep the programme affordable at just £2 per session for the next two to three years.

This means Cash for Kids' support can have a long-term impact, helping us reach more children and young people while reducing the financial pressure on families who may already be facing economic challenges. Instead of a child missing out because their family cannot afford another activity, we can provide an affordable route into sport, inclusion and community.
