Story

Hi and welcome to our Jewels Academy Cash for Kids Sports Challenge fundraising page! πŸ’Ž

We’re The Jewels Academy, a community of dancers, aerialists, circus lovers and instructors who believe that every child should have the opportunity to discover what they’re capable of, regardless of their circumstances.

As well as running our Academy, we’re incredibly passionate about using what we do to give back to our local community. Through our community work, we provide opportunities for children who may not otherwise be able to access activities like dance, circus, aerial and gymnastics.

For some children, the cost of clubs and activities simply isn’t possible. We work with children from low-income families, children in foster care and children who face additional barriers to accessing opportunities that many of us might take for granted.

And it’s about so much more than learning a new skill.

πŸ’Ž Building confidence
πŸ’Ž Making friends
πŸ’Ž Trying something completely new
πŸ’Ž Having somewhere to belong
πŸ’Ž Feeling proud of themselves
πŸ’Ž Discovering a passion
πŸ’Ž Being active and having FUN!

We’ve seen first-hand how much these opportunities can mean to children and that’s why this fundraiser is so incredibly important to us.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help us continue creating these opportunities and reaching even more children within our community.

Our fundraising target is Β£2,000, which would unlock an additional Β£500 for our community work. And we’re going to be aiming even higher because, if we can reach the top three fundraising groups, we could win an additional Β£5,000, Β£2,500 or Β£1,500 to put towards making an even bigger difference.

Imagine what we could do with that! πŸ₯ΉπŸ’Ž

From subsidising places to helping us run more community sessions and creating more opportunities for children who might otherwise miss out, every pound raised could help us say YES to another child.

We’re a small team with a HUGE heart for what we do, and we would absolutely love your support.

If you’re able to donate, please do β€” even Β£5 could help us get one step closer to giving another child an opportunity they may never have had.

Thank you so much for supporting The Jewels Academy and the children in our community. πŸ’Ž

Let’s see just how much we can raise together! πŸ₯°
