Hi, and welcome to the Transform Communities Staffordshire CIC Cash for Kids Sports Challenge fundraising page!
We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to take part, get active and enjoy new experiences — regardless of their family’s financial circumstances or where they live.
We work directly with children and young people across Bentilee, Weston Heights and Norton, including communities experiencing significant levels of deprivation and financial hardship.
For many families, the rising cost of living means that paid-for sports clubs, holiday activities, trips and days out simply aren’t affordable. We don't want cost to be the reason a child has to miss out.
That is why, with the help of grants, fundraising, partners and local supporters, we work hard to provide opportunities FREE of charge.
Throughout the year we provide free youth clubs, sports and physical activities, holiday clubs, healthy food, trips, mentoring and special experiences. We create safe and welcoming spaces where children can make friends, get active, build confidence, learn new skills and simply enjoy being young.
We have taken young people on trips and residential experiences, delivered holiday programmes with food, provided regular sports sessions and opened our youth clubs to families without charging them to attend.
For some children these are experiences they may otherwise never have the opportunity to enjoy.
Why we're fundraising
The Cash for Kids Sports Challenge gives us the chance to raise vital funds to keep this work going and reach even more children across Bentilee, Weston Heights, Norton and surrounding communities.
Every penny we raise will stay with our organisation and help towards the real costs of delivering our work, including venue hire, qualified coaches and youth workers, sports equipment, food, transport, activities and trips.
Most importantly, fundraising helps us continue saying something we're incredibly proud to say to our families:
"It's FREE — just come along and join in."
And there is an amazing additional opportunity. If we finish in the top three fundraising groups, we could receive an extra £5,000, £2,500 or £1,500. Groups that raise at least £2,000 can also receive an additional £500.
For a grassroots community organisation like ours, that extra funding could mean more sessions, more equipment, more trips and, most importantly, more children getting the opportunity to take part.
Whether you can donate £5, £10, £50, sponsor us as a local business or simply share our fundraising page, every bit of support helps.
Help us remove the financial barriers to sport and positive activities for local children.
Together, we can make sure that a child's postcode or family income doesn't determine the opportunities they get in life.
Thank you for supporting Transform Communities Staffordshire CIC and the fantastic young people of Bentilee, Weston Heights and Norton.
