Hi, and welcome to the 442 Soccer Cash for Kids Sports Challenge fundraising page!
We’re a brand-new grassroots community football club based in East Cleveland, created to give local children more opportunities to play, develop and enjoy football.
We’re only at the beginning of our journey, but the response from local families has already been fantastic. We currently have around 30 registered young players, with many more children interested in joining us as we grow.
Starting a new grassroots club from scratch isn't easy. We don't have our own facilities and have to hire pitches and training venues, while also finding the money for goals, footballs, bibs and other essential equipment. Winter is particularly challenging because we need access to suitable floodlit or indoor facilities to keep our children playing throughout the year.
That's why we're taking part in the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge.
Every pound we raise will go towards helping us build a sustainable football club for children in our local community. Funds will help us pay for:
• Winter training facilities
• New goals and training equipment
• Pitch and facility hire
• Supporting the continued growth of our junior teams
• Our long-term ambition of having a home of our own
But this is about much more than buying football equipment.
We want 442 Soccer to become a club that East Cleveland can be proud of — somewhere children can make friends, become more active, build confidence and feel part of a team, regardless of their background or circumstances.
And every donation could go even further!
We keep everything we raise, and if we finish among the top fundraising groups in the Sports Challenge, we could receive an additional £10,000, £8,000 or £6,000. Groups that raise £2,500 can also receive an additional £1,000.
For a new grassroots club like ours, that could make an enormous difference.
We'll be sharing our fundraising events and progress on this page throughout the challenge, so please follow our journey, get involved and share our page with friends, family and local businesses.
If you can donate — no matter how big or small — you'll be helping us build something that can benefit children across East Cleveland for years to come.
Thank you for supporting 442 Soccer. ⚽❤️
