Story

I'm taking part in Forth 1's Step Around Scotland in aid of Cash for Kids Day to help make sure no local child goes hungry during the school holidays this year. My personal goal is to run at least 100 kilometre and do on average at least 13000 steps per day until the end of May.

I've already started making fun plans for the school holidays for our family but am very aware that going on holidays and planning days out is unfortunately not possible for everyone. Even worse some people have to worry about feeding their children- this is absolutely heart breaking! This is the main reason to join this great initiative.

That's why I hope to raise some money for this Cash for Kids Day to help fund projects in Edinburgh, the Lothians, Fife and Falkirk helping to provide food and fun for every child, so no-one misses out.

Hi everyone- I have completed the challenge on average 15.000 steps per day and ended the challenges with my longest run even yesterday- 18.2k!!

Hi- just a quick update! Since last Sunday I have ran almost 40km and done on average almost 19.000 steps per day. This challenge definitely gets me moving more! Planning to continue this and raise some more money for this great cause!
