The Big Hike Challenge takes place on Friday 8th May 2026 in Northumberland. Starting at Walltown Country Park, the 20km route follows Hadrian's Wall past Housesteads Roman Fort, Sycamore Gap, and Crag Lough, reaching a highest point of 1,000ft — all to be completed within 8 hours.
