Story

We are a part of one of the largest youth organisations in the Country, sponsored by the Royal Air Force. We take young adults from the ages of 12 - 19, from a broad spectrum of backgrounds, and help them to develop life & career skills.
As a Squadron, we are very much community based, helping out at various local events and other groups. Our Cadets get to take part in lots of activities that most never have the chance to. Such as Flying, Gliding, Shooting, Visits to RAF Bases, Air shows and Camps, to name just a few.
We thought this would be an excellent challenge for our young cadets to help raise as much money as possible for other kids of their age, who, for whatever reason, haven't had the opportunities our cadets have.
So, What are we going to do?
Cadets are going to complete as many steps as possible whilst doing 'Drill (Marching)' sessions. Some Cadets & Staff Members are undertaking Adventure training activities and will count their steps. Other cadets (and Staff) are training for a Road Marching Competition, so will be submitting their totals for each session. Other staff members will be counting their steps at work.
We are aiming to reach 400 Miles in total. We would greatly appreciate your support.

We're taking part in Hits Radio's Walk Around the World in aid of Cash for Kids Day to help make sure no child goes hungry during the school holidays this year.

Please show your support if you can, and be sure to leave a message too!
