Story

At Centre 56, we see firsthand how difficult school holidays can be for families. For some children, the holidays can be lonely, sad and full of worry, as they see their parents struggling to find enough money to keep them fed.

We wanted to get involved in Hits Radio's Walk Around the World with the children using our services to make sure no child goes hungry during the school holidays this year.

We have an amazing supportive community around us, and it’s important for us to pass these values on to the children that come to our nursery.

On Monday 28th April we’ll be walking a mile together and collecting sponsorship for Cash for Kids. As well as being a fun outing for us, we want to help the children understand the importance of fundraising and supporting others in the community!
