Story

I'm taking part in Hits Radio's Walk Around the World in aid of Cash for Kids Day to help make sure no child goes hungry during the school holidays this year.

I will be walking 100,00 steps in 7 days (21/4/25 - 27/4/25), this will be pushing my self out of my comfort zone as at the minute I average about 6,000 steps a day. To achieve this target I need to be walking roughly 14,300 a day!

For some the holidays aren’t filled with days out, fun activities and full stomachs. They can be lonely, sad and full of worry, as they see their parents struggling to find enough money to keep them fed. That's why all the money raised this Cash for Kids Day will fund projects helping to provide food and fun for every child, so no-one misses out.

I DID IT!!
100,275 steps in 7 days!
I'm absolutely shattered & I've got blisters as a souvenir lol but you know what I pushed myself so much this week, even when I really didn't feel like it I pushed myself wayyyy out of my comfort zone. I honestly didn't realise how hard it would be.
If you told me 12 months ago I would have taken on this challenge I would have laughed at you, but yet here I am & I've completely smashed it!
Believe in yourself & anything is possible!
