Tendring Families First is a finalist in the 'Cash for Kids' Community Challenge!! Will you help us in our July fundraising challenge? 100% of the funding raised is retained by Tendring Families First!

Tendring Families First is a local Charity providing early intervention and holistic support for children and families across one of the most deprived districts in the UK, Tendring. Sadly Tendring has higher than average mental health challenges (Depression, Self-Harm, Suicide) and in most cases greater prevalence than all England, alongside the highest number of children and young people (aged 5-10) affected by Mental Health in Essex. Most worryingly Tendring has the 2nd highest Suicide rate in the whole Country

Our support helps families struggling with multiple complex issues including poverty, family breakdown, isolation, mental health and behavioural challenges. Our vital support services include, Family Support, Child Counselling, Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Theraplay & Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Child Psychotherapy & Free Adult Counselling.

We're raising money as part of the Community Challenge with Cash for Kids. There's a top prize of £4,000 extra funding for the group that raises the most! 100% of the money raised during July will enable Tendring Families First to continue our vital support
