Hi and welcome to our fundraising page!

Thank you for taking the time to support Building Self-Belief CIO.

Building Self-Belief's core aim is to build stronger communities by building self-belief. We deliver programmes, projects and training that help improve the mental health, self-esteem and life chances of vulnerable young people across the North East. Over the years, we have supported thousands of children and young people to develop confidence, develop aspirations and create positive futures for themselves and their communities.

We run a range of workshops and activities in areas experiencing socio-economic disadvantages, focusing on wellbeing, future planning, teamwork, cultural experiences and personal development. Alongside this, we are proud to manage two fantastic community spaces. Benfieldside Community Garden, which is home to our gardening clubs, toddler group and Forest School Activities and our community hub at Steel Street in the heart of Consett, where we deliver a variety of community sessions, events and run our very own youth club.

We're taking part in the Cash for Kids Community Challenge to help raise funds that will support the future growth of Building Self-Belief CIO. The funds raised will enable us to continue responding to the needs of our local communities, invest in new opportunities for those who need them most and build on the positive impact we already make across the North East. Every contribution will help us continue creating safe, supportive spaces where people can grow in confidence, develop new skills and feel connected to their community.
