Help Us Keep Our Community Safe with #kNOwKnifeCrime
Since July 2023, schools in the Southport Learning Trust have come together to support #kNOwKnifeCrime — a youth campaign focused on educating and empowering young people with vital, life-saving knowledge. At the heart of this work is a shared commitment to keeping our young people safe and giving them the confidence to make positive, informed choices.
Why Your Support Matters
In 2023, our schools raised an incredible £5,200 to fund bleed control kits and cabinets outside school grounds. Building on that success, April 2024 saw us join forces with schools across Sefton, raising £30,000 and enabling 86 bleed control kits and cabinets to be installed across the area.
In 2025, we carried this momentum forward by funding first aid training through the Mini Medics programme, equipping pupils with practical skills to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
In 2026, we are carrying on with our efforts and once again joining forces with the #kNOwKnifeCrime campaign. Our aim is clear: to educate as many young people as possible on the dangers of knife crime and to ensure they know exactly what to do if they are ever faced with a medical emergency. With your support, we can reach more pupils, strengthen awareness, and continue making a real, lasting difference.
