The Cash for Kids Sports Challenge is here to help enable more local disadvantaged children to get active and involved in sport.
Clubs from across the area, split into under and over 50 members, are competing to raise as much money as they can by midday on Monday 26th October.
They'll keep 100% of the funds they raise, plus there's thousands of pounds of additional funding available for them to win!
The top three fundraisers in each category will receive up to an extra £10,000, £8,000 and £6,000 on top of what they raise (subject to raising the equivalent amount). Every other group that raises at least £1,000 will still receive match-funding up to £2,500, plus there'll be some extra prizes!
These funds can be used to subsidise memberships, improve facilities or provide training to enable more underprivileged children and young people to access sport. Who knows, they could be the next generation of sporting superstars!
