We're proud to be taking part in the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge, giving us just four weeks to raise as much money as possible for our club.
Our goal is simple: to continue supporting our current players while creating opportunities for even more young people to experience the sport we all love. We want to do everything we can to reduce barriers to participation, grow the game locally and ensure that as many children as possible can enjoy the benefits of being part of the Billingham Stars family.
Every penny raised comes back to support our club, and there are also fantastic funding opportunities available through the challenge. Every participating group will receive match funding of up to £2,500. In addition, the three groups that raise the most money will receive match funding up to £10,000 for 1st place, £8,000 for 2nd place, and £6,000 for 3rd place. Every donation could help us unlock even more support for our players and future development.
Our main club fundraising event will be the Billingham Park Run on 11th October, and we'd love to see as many players, parents, family members, friends and supporters involved as possible. Whether you're running, walking, volunteering or sponsoring someone taking part, every contribution will make a difference.
We're also looking for fundraising ideas from across the club. If you'd like to organise an event, take on a challenge, or get sponsored to do something, we'd love to hear from you. Whether it's a sponsored skate, run, cycle, raffle, bake sale, quiz night, or something completely unique, please let the club know. We'll be happy to help promote it and support your efforts.
