Cleveland Basketball Club

Our Story

Help Cleveland Basketball Club Keep Changing Lives Through Sport 🏀

Cleveland Basketball Club is a community-focused basketball club creating opportunities for people of all ages from 5 year olds picking up a basketball for the first time, right through to players aged 55.

We believe basketball is about so much more than what happens on the court. It’s about building confidence, developing friendships, improving physical and mental wellbeing, and giving people a positive place to belong.

As a Level 1 accredited club, we are committed to providing safe, inclusive and high-quality opportunities for our community.
Through our programmes, we provide thousands of HAF (Holiday Activities and Food) places every year, helping children and young people access free sport, physical activity, food and enriching experiences during the school holidays.

Our work has also been recognised within the local community, with Cleveland Basketball Club being named Community Club of the Year for 2025/26 by Basketball England.

Taking part in the Cash for Kids Sports Challenge gives us another opportunity to raise vital funds that can be reinvested directly into our players, programmes and community projects.

Every donation can help us provide more opportunities, support more young people and ensure that cost isn't a barrier to getting involved in basketball.

Together, we can keep more people active, connected and inspired through basketball.

Please support Cleveland Basketball Club and help us continue to make a difference in our community.
